Diagnosis

Flagellum short; scutellum ± flat, sides ± parallel in anterior part, striate, engraved striae diverging posteriorly, smooth posteromedially; posterior margin of dorsellum tridentate; propodeum with a narrow median groove, submedian carinae weak; petiole 1.3X as long as wide in female, 1.5X in male; first gastral tergite smooth. Similar to alticola but differs in having shorter antennae; shorter petiole; stigmal vein with base narrowed; head more stout.
